The Krivo Universal Acoustic Mini-Humbucker for All Guitars.
Available for Pre-Order (will ship in two weeks or less). Formerly available exclusively on select guitars by fine builders such as Emerald and Fibonacci Guitars, my mini-humbucker is the best-of-all-worlds. I've taken the best design elements from my Micro Manouche and Micro-Stealth pickups and created one pickup to rule them all. It combines the adjustability, warmth, and grit of the PAF with the clarity and unparalleled string-to-string balance of the Micro Manouche. It has both an adjustable coil with steel pole pieces as well as Krivo's proprietary "compensated Neodymium magnet" design to create the perfect pickup, the result is a very clean and flattering pickup with perfect balance. This pickup provides a warm yet clear sound with a very sweet midrange.
The Mini-humbucker has a more transparent "acoustic tone" and is recommended if you use acoustic strings such as phosphor bronze, 80/20, Monel, or Argentine. Go for my Micro-Stealth PAF if you use electric nickel, steel or especially flat-wound Jazz strings.
NOTE: When you select an option from the dropdown menu below the photo at the top left of your screen will change to match the pickup you are ordering, however you will need to scroll to be able to see it, please browse all available options).
The Krivo Mini - Humbucker is featured on select guitars by Emerald and Fibonacci Guitars, as well as other fine builders. Contact me if you are a builder and are curious about incorporating a Krivo Pickup to suit your designs.
Available in premium wood finishes for additional charge: Contact Me for details and availability. Need help deciding between the Mini-humbucker and my MicroStealth-PAF: The Mini-Humbucker has a more transparent "acoustic tone" and is recommended if you use acoustic strings such as phosphor bronze, Monel, or Argentine. Go for the PAF if you prefer electric nickel, steel or especially flat-wound Jazz strings. Additionally, the Micro-Stealth PAF has a narrower Gibson pole piece spacing (50mm), whereas, the Mini-Humbucker has the slightly wider Fender spacing of 52mm. However the neodymium coil in the mini will sense all common spacings from 49-53mm. |
